Ruby Bloomers Has Triplets
The Three Sisters have burst forth from the loins of the Ruby Bloomers Womens Circus to entertain with their own unique brand of wacky fun. They sing about beauty, they sing about truth, and they sing about chickens being tortured in sheds with no breezes. So bring out the funny hats, put on your feather boa and spend some time in the presence of these fabulously frocked females!

  Join 702 ABC Sydney’s SIMON MARNIE at the Winter Magic Festival between 6am and 12noon on Saturday 18 June in front of the Carrington (and in the parade!) for a live broadcast of the WEEKENDS program. It’s the best place all morning for live music, live radio and loads of fun.

This year Simon will take live broadcasting to a new level, bringing you all the sights and sounds of the Grand Parade between 11am and 12noon. Yes, in a first for 702 ABC Sydney, Simon will join the Grand Parade and walk up Katoomba Street broadcasting live. Keep an eye out for him – he’ll be dressed up in 702 finery!

Tom the Pom workshops Saturday 21st June Carrington Ballroom One of the stars of Winter Magic is back in 2011. Tom the Pom (aka Tom Harding) will be conducting his Festival morning workshop 9:30am at Katoomba Public School Merriwa St

Tom has conducted workshops for The BBC, Cambridge University Press, Liverpool FC, Glastonbury Festival and now Winter Magic. See video footage of Tom's workshops and his newly trained drummers in action.

If you have a talent you would like to share with 40,000 people, we have some great news for you. From 3pm on Festival Day, the open space at the top of the Civic Centre steps right in the centre of town will be yours (you might have to share it). “Ice Man” Shows Designed in Heaven for Blue Mountains Winter Magic!  
“Norwegian Ice musician” Terje Isungset, master percussionist Tunji Beier and award winning vocalist Kristin Berardi perform together in the Carrington Ballroom Katoomba the day after Winter Magic.

For those staying overnight in the mountains, this is a “must do” concert. This unique musical partnership will not be found anywhere else in the world.
