Expressions of interest are sought from resident artists of the City of the Blue Mountains to exhibit artwork in all mediums. You will be exhibiting your work in local business windows throughout the main streets of Katoomba during Winter Magic Festival 2010. The 2010 theme is “Light”.

New Stalls Management Team
Matt and Amelia new stalls management team for Winter Magic 2010
Matt and Amelia Hope make up an enthusiastic and experienced new stall management team for 2010. Amelia comes from Winter Magic dynasty while Matt has extensive experience in sales and marketing.

New Committee Takes Charge
On Wednesday 10th February the Annual General Meeting of the Winter Magic Festival elected a new, yet experienced and energetic committee to manage the event in 2010. They have some great ideas but would still like to hear from you. Special thanks to Councillor Janet Mays (front right) for her attendance and support.

What is Winter Magic?
The Winter Solstice has been celebrated by civilisations ancient and new over millennia. Often concealed beneath myth, elaborate artifice and tradition, at its core it is a physical event.

It marks the commencement of winter and the journey back towards warmth and the promise of Spring. It is a moment of renewal and promise. For the mountains it has a particular significance.
